The New Balance FuelCell SuperComp Trainer packs the race-day-ready energy return into a high-mileage training shoe. In the new Energy Arc technology, a high-stack midsole houses an arched carbon fiber plate sandwiched between two layers of FuelCell cushioning, leaving a hollow channel through the middle. With each foot strike, the plate is flattened into the void, returning energy as it reshapes, creating high rebound and propulsion. The New Balance FuelCell SuperComp Trainer looks, feels, and performs differently.
Shoe Technology
Upper: Breathable flat knit upper offers a locked-in fit and feel. ‘N’ logo design wraps around the lateral side of the shoe.
Midsole: FuelCell foam delivers a propulsive ride to help drive you forward. Energy Arc technology pairs sport-specific carbon fiber plate geometry with strategic midsole cutouts to increase energy return.
Outsole: Lightweight rubber outsole adds traction and durability.
